Filming of the wedding ceremony
The filming of the wedding ceremony is so important. If you’re going to have any of your day captured on video, this is the part that can’t be missed. It’s lovely to be able to watch back your vows, even if you do mess up some of the lines! Being able to watch back walking down the aisle and back up the aisle again when you’re married is great. You also get to watch all the things that you missed like your guests arriving, the bridesmaids walking down the aisle and the nervous groom.
You can watch the short wedding video below that shows a collection of clips from various weddings filmed in Manchester, Nantwich, Mitton Hall in Clitheroe, Thornton Manor on the Wirral and Liverpool. The video will give you an idea of the natural videography style that I tend to go for when filming weddings. It seems to work well as everyone feels comfortable in front of the camera if they feel like they don’t have to pose.
This is another video of some different wedding ceremonies that I have filmed over the years. It again, gives you an idea of the natural filming style. I try to get a good spot during the ceremony to set up and stay in the same lace throughout. This is always a hit with the registrar and the priest or vicar as they don’t like videographers and photographers moving about a lot during the ceremony. If possible, I like the camera to be facing the bride so that I can get all the reactions of the bride during the ceremony. Enjoy the video below. There are some nice moments.
